Abdullah Haneef is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in administration, operations, logistics, procurement, customs management, and project implementation. Born on April 3, 1990, in Afghanistan, he began his education in Pakistan before returning to Afghanistan to pursue higher education at Salam University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (General Management) and a Master’s Degree in Project Management.
With more than 15 years of professional experience across government institutions, international organizations, and the private sector, Abdullah has developed strong expertise in strategic planning, operational management, business development, and stakeholder engagement.
Since 2017, he has served as the Director of Baltic Control Afghanistan, a leading inspection, survey, testing, and certification organization. In this role, he oversees all operational and business activities, manages client relationships, leads business development initiatives, and ensures compliance with international standards while supporting the logistics, transportation, agriculture, and trade sectors.
Earlier in his career, Abdullah held several management and operational positions within both public and private organizations. He worked as an Operations Assistant, where he supported daily operational activities, coordinated logistics and administrative processes, prepared reports, managed communications, and assisted management in ensuring efficient workflow and service delivery. He later progressed into senior administrative, finance, sales, and management roles, gaining valuable experience in organizational leadership, financial administration, business operations, and project coordination.
Abdullah also possesses extensive experience in customs clearance, exemption management, taxation oversight, and regulatory compliance. His responsibilities included coordinating border reconciliations for cargo shipments, reviewing customs documentation, managing stakeholder communications, supporting technical operations, and facilitating compliance with government regulations and international trade requirements.
Prior to joining Baltic Control Afghanistan, he also served as Executive Secretary to the Deputy General Director of the Financial and Support Unit at the Administrative Office of the President, where he contributed to administrative coordination, reporting, and executive support functions.
