Baltic Control^® has been successfully approved by SIRIM QAS International, Malaysia as Foreign Inspection Body with Memorandum of Agreement type 1B. Our scope of accreditation covers pre-shipment inspections of ferrous and non-ferrous metal scrap (as well as waste paper and paperboard).

This means that Baltic Control^® can perform pre-shipment inspections without the required discharge inspection in Malaysia from USA, Japan and Europe including UK and Ireland.

The new approval is already effective from 24th of March 2022.
